Upping the Voltz with Rank stationary...

Late last year I had the opportunity to work with zim dance hall legend Voltz JT on a campaign with The Marketing House for Rank Zimbabwe. The brief was to shoot a variety of lifestyle and school related images of Voltz JT using Rank Zimbabwe’s exercise and counter books. Have you seen or used the resulting exercise books at all? What do you think of the results?

KW Blasting...

I have been working with KW Blasting for several years now, creating captivating images for their marketing and specifically social media presence. In that time I have visited many different sites were their operations are underway, from large mines to huge civil engineering projects. The fabulous design team at Marson Designs then weaves their creative wand to include KW Blastings’ signature branding colours into the images. What do you think of the results?

Lifestyle images at Hotel 258...

I was more than happy to make my return journey to the newly completed Hotel 258 in Harare late last year to shoot some fresh images of their rooms and common spaces as well as a few lifestyle pictures of people enjoying the facilities at the hotel. A few subtle soft furnishings had been updated so in addition to the lifestyle type shots I covered a few more of their awesomely styled rooms, making sure to capture some close detail in the rooms. As usual I had a productive and fun time with the client, what do you think of the results?

Zimplats 2024 Annual Report photography...

Every year I am lucky enough to be given the responsibility of shooting the images for Zimbabwe Platinum Mines’ annual report. Being the largest mining group in the country this generally means there is a lot to cover throughout their areas of operations, mining and community projects. It’s generally a hectic week of shooting but the results are always worth the effort! Below is a selection of excerpts from the report which you can find on the Zimplats website here.

RK Fuels...

I have been working closely recently with the dynamic team at RK Fuels to produce images of their fuel stations and staff for their website and social media channels. The brief involved showcasing the different RK stations around Harare and their energetic staff. I was lucky to have a few stunning sunsets at some of the locations which added the cherry on the cake of a successful shoot. What do you think of the results?

Lifestyle images for Winner Foods...

I had an awesome time recently collaborating with The Marketing House shooting lifestyle images in the studio for their wholesale food client Winner Foods. The brief was to showcase Winner foods' large basket of goods being used in a real setting from the preparation and cooking to eating the final meal. It was a hectic but fun filled day of smiles and poses! What do you think of the results? The images where used in a variety of formats, from social media posts to large billboards around Harare. #commercialphotography #productphotography #foodphotography #marketingphotography #scottyphotography

Architecture all over...

I am very lucky to be able to do a lot of architecture photography around Harare and Zimbabwe as well. One of my regular clients are the awesome Architectural Planning Studio who I have worked with for ages. APS always have a variety of projects on the go, from residential refurbs to commercial food outlets, housing developments, large scale projects and even hospitals! Check out some of the most recent work I have done for them, with the usual variety in scope and size! Also be sure to check out their services as well as my past work for them on their website here.

N1 Hotel Victoria Falls

In early December I was contracted by the N1 Hotel in Vic Falls to photograph their newly renovated rooms and public areas. Being early December the weather plays a constant stress factor but thankful it behaved and blue skies prevailed, allowing me to create some great images! Please see a small selection below, do let me know what you think!

Zimplats Annual Reports...

I have been lucky enough to work with Zimbabwe Platinum Mines over the past 5 years creating images for their Annual reports and yearly marketing campaigns. My scope of work typically covers all of their operations above and below ground as well as their varied CSR projects close to the mine and around the country. There is always lots to cover so the days are long but inevitably rewarding! You can check out some of the results below as well as find all the annual reports on Zimplats website here.

Chewore Lodge...

I was very lucky to be engaged by Chewore Lodge at the end of 2020 to photography their newly refurbished camp along the banks of the Zambezi River. It was a hectic 3 days of 4am starts and late nights, as you may well know its all about the right light!

We covered all aspects fo the lodge from the main boma area and fire pit to the rooms and food, some aerial images helped nicely to pout the lodges location right on the banks of the mighty Zambezi river into perspective.
